The woman of today, is juggling through it all, thriving to perform and excel in her personal and professional life without settling for anything less than the best.
However, given the diverse roles we play on a daily basis; to name a few, being a responsible sister, a good daughter, a caring mother, a busy wife, a contributing co-worker, a compassionate boss and the list could go on forever!
There are some days when things can get overwhelming as we try to achieve it all, without compromising on the smallest details, and trying to encompass perfection in all that we do. We often don’t even acknowledge how hard we grind everyday in order to work towards fulfilling our personal desires.
So today, on Women’s Day, as we write this, we urge you to take a moment to celebrate YOU, reflect on your achievements, not just personally and professionally but rather holistically.
Give yourself a pat on your back for always striving hard to be the truest and best version of yourself at all times.
This Women’s Day, we choose to #BalanceForBetter. As we balance our
Hustle with Hope,
Fear with Faith,
Tasks with Triumphs,
Failures with Fain,
Pain with Praise
We would like to extend a special thank all the women who have supported us in this journey of bringing to life a female-founded, female-led and female-run organisation and brand which endeavours to continuously innovate and fabricate the best quality Ergonomic Essentials for our Women of Steel.
As we sign off, we would like to leave you with a little list put together of not so quintessential self-care tips and tricks that our founder, Minash personally swears by.
1) Start your day by rising 30 minutes before your schedule for the day calls for:
Enjoy nature, silence and having no-tech time (preferably during sun rise). Chant, read a book or just take 10 minutes to breathe without any distractions! This helps with grounding and setting the balance for a calm mind throughout the day and practising the “More Life, Less Rush” strategy.
2) Visualise your goals:
Make an extensive vision board for the next week/month/quarter/ year of your life. There is truly nothing better than having clarity of exactly what you want and it also makes goals seem more achievable.
3) Pamper yourself:
With a massage or a manicure, whatever floats your boat! (of course this one had to be on the list 🙂
4) Eliminate what doesn’t help you evolve:
Spend time reflecting your successes and failures and assessing the way forward! Write a plan if you love doing it the old school way. Pro & Con lists before starting a new project/ venture is an amazing activity to come to decisions on dilemmas.
5) Cut out the guilt!
Find some time and do some thing you haven’t gotten the chance to do for a while, and have been feeling guilty about. Whether it’s visiting a relative or an old friend or, even if it is just cutting off things from your list of personal errands like groceries and replenishing home supplies for the week.
6) Chill with your Soul Sisters/ Friends
Have a GNO! All said and done, who needs therapy when you have a good bunch of gal friends, or even that one long distance friend – sometimes all you need is a good Skype catch-up sesh to elevate your mood to power through the rest of the week! Hang with only those who make you feel happy and honest.
7) Try something new!
Nothing more fun and uplifting than the adrenaline rush which comes from trying something new. Don’t think so much, we all have that one thing we’ve been wanting to try! Go for it.
8) Break a habit you have been trying to get rid of for a while.
It takes 21 days to break a habit and 66 days to sustain it, so if there’s that one thing you’ve been thinking about changing, start now and stay committed! Start with something easy and small.
9) Contribute positively in some way in bettering someone’s life or the environment you live in.
The feeling of giving back to a larger community is a form of tithing which is very powerful and helps rotate good the energies and flow of money in one’s life.
10) Sleep without setting an alarm –
No explanation required for this one! Everyone loves a good lie-in.
Lastly, but not the least – probably the most important, remember to acknowledge the good, the bad and the ugly, eliminate the negatives and power on to keeping the beautiful balance you do, every day.

This year together, let’s promise to #BalanceForBetter
